Document Q new build regulations

Document Q is a new requirement for new residential buildings( it currently excludes extensions to an existing dwelling) to comply with the latest Building Regulations.Under the new standards, all new doors and windows must be made to a design that has been shown, by test, to meet the security requirements of PAS24:2012 (or other standards that meet or exceed PAS24:2012).

The PAS24:2012 standard means all doors and windows have to meet a cylinder and hardware attack test and comply with European security measures to make homes less vulnerable. Both our Kommerling PVC-u systems can be supplied to comply to document Q requirements on request, we must know in advance if you require the upgraded security specification at the time of quoting.
